My Story
My Story
Hi, I'm Justin. I have been working with and supporting people with sight loss for nearly 20 years as a Guide Dog Mobility Specialist and a Vision Rehabilitation Specialist. I am also a long time mindfulness practitioner and a qualified Counsellor. Mindfulness has made a huge difference in my life in terms of understanding myself better, responding more skillfully to life’s ups and downs, and noticing and appreciating the goodness that is all around us.
I am passionate about sharing the benefits of mindfulness and making it accessible for people with sight loss. I received my teaching qualification in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) from the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF) in 2024. The courses I teach have been designed and developed by the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation in Partnership with the University of Oxford.
I have delivered mindfulness courses for the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation and the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
My intention is to provide online Mindfulness courses and trainings that are fully accessible for adults with sight loss.
